Guelph Police have shared dash cam video of some bad behaviour on the road. They said the incident happened on July 30, around noon, at the intersection of Edinburgh Road South and Ironwood Road. The video showed a dark-coloured, late-model Ford Mustang travelling on Edinburgh Road South. Even though it was in the left turning lane, the car continued into the intersection. Another car was in the lane beside the Mustang, while a second was stopped and waiting to turn left in the opposite direction. The Mustang squeezed between the two vehicles, without stopping, narrowly avoiding a collision. Police posted the dash cam video to their social media on Monday. They said they wanted to speak to the driver of the Mustang about the incident. “We are asking that if you were at or near this intersection at the time and witnessed this driving behavior, have dash cam, know this driver or vehicle, or have any information, please contact Const. Kent Schneider of the Traffic Unit at kschneider@guelphpolice.ca,” they wrote in the message.
