WRPS ask for public’s help identifying alleged theft suspect

Waterloo Regional Police is hoping to identify someone they believe to be responsible for a series of thefts in Kitchener.

Police did not go into detail about when or where the thefts took place but said the thefts are currently under investigation.

Police included three images of a person seemingly in a store on at least two different occasions.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information related to these incidents is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

WRPS said it continues to work in partnership with the Retail Council of Canada – National Retail Crime Taskforce and other retail partners to combat retail and organized crime within the community.
