Weekend construction to disrupt GO trains on the Kitchener line

Planned construction work will disrupt GO train service on the Kitchener line this weekend.

Metrolinx said track work would take place Saturday and Sunday at the Woodbine GO and St. Clair-Old Weston Station as part of the GO Expansion program.

Trains will operate between the Kitchener and Bramalea GO stations, with hourly service between Mount Pleasant and Bramalea.

GO buses will also run direct between Bramalea GO and the Highway 407 bus terminal, where riders can connect to the TTC and Union Station.

There will be no GO traint service at Malton, Etobicoke North, Weston, Mount Dennis or Bloor GO stations. Riders are being advised to use TTC or local transit options.

Additional schedule changes are also in effect.

On Friday, April 17:

• The 23:34 train departing Union Station to Mount Pleasant GO will not run.
• The last Kitchener line train will depart at 22:34, making all stops to Kitchener GO.

On Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24:

• The 8:36 train departing Kitchener GO, will arrive at Union Station two minutes later at 10:17.
• The 16:28, 17:28 and 18:28 trains departing Bramalea GO will depart two minutes earlier at 16:26, 17:26 and 18:26.
