Voyeurism incidents at Waterloo Region malls may be connected

One person may be responsible for recent voyeurism reports at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police previously released the photo of a man they wanted to speak to in connection to the Conestoga Mall incident, but now say they also want to question him about the one at Fairview Park Mall.

On July 9, a man allegedly filmed someone inside a change room at Fairview Park Mall.

A second incident was reported at Conestoga Mall on July 21. Police said an employee saw a man put a “recording device” on his shoe and then proceeded to film females inside the store.
