Environment Canada says even more heavy rain is on the way. A special weather statement was issued Friday for most of southwestern Ontario. The agency said some communities already received 50 to 100 millimetres in the morning and, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast, the rain will continue into the afternoon. Environment Canada is predicting 50 millimetres or more. Showers are expected to continue, on and off, until Saturday afternoon. The agency said the sun will make a return on Sunday.
