Serious collision south of Mount Forest

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a serious collision that happened near Mount Forest, Ont.

Emergency services responded to Sideroad 5 West between Concession 9 and Highway 6 sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning to reports of a single passenger vehicle collision.

Investigators say the injuries to the person involved are still being assessed.

As a result of the crash, Sideroad 5 West has closed in both directions between Concession 9 and Highway 6 for continued clean-up efforts and further investigation.

Police urge the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

The investigation remains ongoing.
