Shots were fired at a home in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough early Friday morning. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 2:50 a.m. about the incident on Méridian Avenue near Ponsard Avenue. “Upon their arrival, police officers quickly located several bullet holes on the front of the residence,” said Johany Charland, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “A suspect was seen reportedly firing shots towards the residence.” He fled before officers arrived, and no arrests have been made. Investigators are on site with the K9 unit to canvass the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
