VANCOUVER — Telus Corp. reported its second-quarter loss compared with a year ago as its revenue also edged lower. The company reported a loss attributable to common shareholders of $1.8 billion or $1.17 per share for the quarter ended June 30. The results compared with a profit of $7 million in the same quarter last year. Operating revenue and other income totalled $4.92 billion, down from $5.08 billion a year earlier. On an adjusted basis, Telus says it earned 16 cents per share in its latest quarter compared with an adjusted profit of 22 cents per share a year earlier.
