Road closures continue due to severe weather

Several roads throughout Ontario have closed due to severe weather conditions and poor visibility.

In an update on social media on Friday at 2:51 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police warned drivers of deteriorating road conditions.

Road closures include:

• Hwy 6: Mount Forest to Fergus
• Hwy 8: Goderich to Stratford
• Grey Bruce Line: Concession 4 to Concession 6
• Bruce Road 28: Bruce Rd 6 to Huron Bruce Rd
• Amberley Rd: Wingham to Perth Rd 178/Mt. Pleasant Line
• Hwy 4: Denfield Road to Exeter
• Saintsbury Line: Elginfield to Watson St.
• Hwy 23: Palmerston to Elginfield
• Hwy 21: Concession Rd 10 (Port Elgin) to Carlisle St. (Southampton)
• Hwy 21: Concession Rd 6 (Port Elgin) to Sutton St. (Kincardine)
• Hwy 21: Kincardine Ave. to Blyth Rd.
• Hwy 21: Suncoast Dr. (Goderich) to Bayfield Rd.
• Grey Rd 2: Grey Rd 31 to 8th Concession
• Bruce Rd 3: Paisley to Hwy 21 (Southampton)

Drivers were encouraged to keep an eye on 511on.ca as road closures may change throughout the day.
