OPP have recovered $238,000 in stolen property from Bayham. Police said on April 16 just after 10:30 a.m., they responded to a report of a stolen front-end loader near the intersection of Glen Erie Line and Stafford Road. The loader was last seen going eastbound on Glen Erie Line, before it was taken to a property on 2nd Concession Road ENR in Houghton. Later in the day, a search warrant was executed at the 2nd Concession Road ENR property. One person was arrested and the stolen property was recovered. That included a Caterpillar front-end loader, a Polaris RZR side-by-side ATV, and a galvanized dump trailer. A 66-year-old man has been charged.
