Police investigating violent robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are currently responding to a robbery in Kitchener Sunday.

In an email to CTV News, police said they were called to the area of King Street South and Andrew Street at noon for a reported robbery. They said in part “victims were exiting a building when they were confronted by two subjects and assaulted. During the assault, the keys for a 2024 Green Range Rover were stolen from the victim. the subjects fled northbound in the victim’s vehicle.”

No word on if anyone was hurt.

Police said the suspects are believed to have been in the area for some time before the incident.

Police are looking for two suspects, a black man wearing a black sweater, red pants and a cross-body bag and another black man wearing a black puffy vest, a red sweater and a cross-body bag.
