A man is facing impaired driving charges for a rollover in Guelph-Eramosa Township. The single vehicle collision happened on Aug. 22 around 5 p.m. along Wellington Road 22. The Ontario Provincial Police said the driver lost control on a curve and rolled his vehicle multiple times before it came to a stop on its roof. Paramedics examined the driver and an adult passenger. Both had minor injuries, but they didn’t need additional medical attention at the crash site. The driver, a 24-year-old from Orangeville, was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, dangerous operation and driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available. His licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
