Firefighters from Minto Fire and North Perth’s Listowel Station remain at the site of a shed fire. In a social media post on Sunday around 9:42 p.m., Minto Fire said they had been called to a blaze near Bride Road and 3rd Line near Palmerston. They asked people in the area to keep an eye out for tankers that were travelling back and forth to fill up near Minto Road and Main Street. On Monday at 10:38 a.m., Minto Fire confirmed crews were still in the area as they dealt with hot spots. They said the shed had been full of straw and warned drivers that tankers were still moving through the area.
