This year’s winners are: All told, 22,522 lbs of food and $35,443 were donated to the cause. “Every year, Canstruction brings out the best in our community,” Kim Wilhelm, CEO of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, said. “I’m so grateful to everyone who shows up, gets involved, and helps make sure no one in Waterloo region goes hungry—especially at a time when the need for food assistance remains high.” The food will be distributed through the Community Food Assistance Network, a group of 61 organizations that provide food support to 73,000 people in Waterloo Region.
