Metrolinx opens new GO station along Kitchener line

Travellers on the GO Transit’s Kitchener line will notice a new stop on all non-express trains.

Mount Dennis GO officially opened on Sunday.

Metrolinx said the station, located on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive will connect to GO Transit, UP Express and the TTC, as well as Toronto’s west end.

Mount Dennis GO will have elevator and washroom access at each entrance, as well as bicycle parking and a passenger pick-up and drop-off area.

Only non-express trains will stop at the station.

Metrolinx also said, as of Nov. 23, weekend trains to Toronto would run every 30-minutes in the afternoons and evenings on the Kitchener line. Two additional trips would also be added on the weekdays.
