Students looking for work in Kitchener will want to circle Jan. 17 on their calendars. The city said applications are open for more than 200 temporary youth jobs, starting in the summer. The roles range from working at summer camps, to youth programs, inclusion support, lifeguarding, customer service, parks and events. Full and part-time positions are available. The city will be holding a Youth Hiring Expo on Jan. 17 at the Forest Hill Community Centre, giving applicants a chance to speak with current city staff and learn more about the positions they are considering applying for.
