A Kitchener man is facing multiple charges following a stabbing that left a 20-year-old man seriously injured. Waterloo Regional Police said emergency crews responded to a report of a disturbance at a business in the area of Bingemans Centre Drive and Victoria Street North at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Sunday. Police said a 20-year-old man was involved in a physical altercation during which he was stabbed. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries. As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 22-year-old Kitchener man. He has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon and aggravated assault. The investigation remains ongoing.
