Two 17-year-old Waterloo youths are facing charges after a weapons incident at a public pool in Kitchener on Saturday night. Waterloo Regional Police said officers responded to reports of a male brandishing a knife at a public pool on Woodside Avenue at about 7:50 p.m. Police said officers arrived at the scene and arrested two suspects. One 17-year-old has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The second 17-year-old faces charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts of assault with a weapon. Police said no physical injuries were reported. No further details have been released.
