Hundreds of new jobs coming to Brantford, Ont. as transportation company expands

Hundreds of new jobs are expected as a transportation company is getting ready to grow in Brantford, Ont.

On Thursday, Scotlynn broke ground on what they call a new ‘state-of-the-art office facility.’ When finished, the 60,000-square-foot facility will be a major component of the company’s operations in North America and create hundreds of new jobs in sales, logistics, operations and other support functions.

Scotlynn currently has offices in Vittoria and Brantford, as well as Fort Myers, Tampa, Indianapolis and Greenville in the U.S.

“The new Brantford office is a testament to our belief in the region’s potential and our dedication to creating opportunities that benefit both our business and the community,” Scott Biddle, president and CEO of Scotlynn, said in a news release.

The new facility will feature gym facilities staffed by professional trainers and restaurant-style kitchens.
