Gun and suspected drugs seized after police search in two Kitchener homes

A Kitchener man is facing multiple charges in connection to a three-month-long drug trafficking investigation by Waterloo Regional Police.

On Wednesday, officers executed a search warrant into two homes. The search led to them finding multiple suspected drugs including cocaine, methamphetamine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and hydromorphone pills. They also seized a gun, two stolen motorcycles and around $5,000 in cash.

A 46-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, operation of a conveyance while prohibited and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
