Four people, including three children, taken to hospital in Kitchener crash

Four people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the corner of East Avenue and Stirling Avenue North in Kitchener.

Emergency services were called to the intersection on Friday around 10:50 a.m.

Although neither driver was hurt, the Waterloo Regional Police Service said four passengers from one vehicle, including three children, were taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.

The intersection was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.

Charges are expected.
