A man in his 60s has died after police say he was hit by vehicles while crossing the street. The incident happened on Oct. 23, at around 7:45 p.m. Police were called to the intersection of Main Street and Jarvis Avenue for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. Police said a man in his 60s was crossing on Main Street in the crosswalk when he was hit by a pickup truck. The man was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later died from his injuries. Police said the driver of the truck remained on scene. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Collision Investigators.
