Cyclist, vehicle collide west of Mount Forest

Highway 89 west of Mount Forest is closed following a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a cyclist, Ontario Provincial Police say.

Emergency crews were called to the area between O’Dwyers Road and Wellington Road 6 on Sunday afternoon.

Officials said injuries are being assessed. No further details on the extent of those injuries have been released.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the investigation continues.

No timeline has been provided for when the highway will reopen.
