Brantford Bulldogs acquire forward Ryan Chamberlain from Sarnia Sting

The Brantford Bulldogs have acquired forward Ryan Chamberlain from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for a 2026 eighth-round draft pick, the team announced Sunday.

Chamberlain, 15, of Peterborough, Ont., was originally selected by Sarnia in the fifth round, 101st overall, of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound centerman played his OHL Draft year with the Toronto Marlboros, posting 16 goals and 21 assists in 82 AAA games. He was teammates there with current Bulldogs prospect Jude Bray.

Widely regarded as one of the top skaters in the 2024 OHL Draft class, Chamberlain made his OHL debut as a 16-year-old, appearing in 20 games for Sarnia during the 2024-25 season.

Brantford General Manager Spencer Hyman said Chamberlain will join the Bulldogs for the remainder of the pre-season and will be eligible to play for the team’s affiliate, the Brantford Titans, in the 2025-26 season.
