Art instructor charged with sex offences involving a youth

Guelph art teacher accused of youth sex crimes From CTV Kitchener's Daryl Morris: Police say Pablo Suarez's alleged victim was involved in the business.

A Guelph art instructor has been charged after allegations of sexual offences involving a youth.

Pablo Suarez, 48, was arrested on March 13 following a police investigation.

He is the owner of Pablo’s World of Cartoons, an art education and workshop space that runs drawing day camps.

"Se chose to name the business here today because we've now received one complaint, and in naming that business, potentially if there are past victims, they may now come forward knowing that there's been another incident reported," explains Const. Mike Gatto.

Suarez is facing charges of luring a child under 18, sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

"This specific incident is a recent incident that occurred and it did involve a person who was involved with the business," Const. Gatto says.

Police did not say when he was expected in court to answer for the charges.
