Woman wanted for assault and forcible confinement in Boxing Day incident

A warrant for forcible confinement, theft under $5,000, and assault causing bodily harm has been issued in an incident in Lloydminster last month.

The incident happened on Boxing Day on the 4400 block of 46 Street in the Alberta-Saskatchewan border city.

An investigation identified Amanda Ironstad, 40, as the suspect in the assault.

Warrants for Ironstad were issued after police failed to locate her.

Ironstad is described as having a medium complexion, 5′5″ tall, 165 pounds with hand tattoos, a neck tattoo and a face tattoo.
