Tiffany & Co. to open first store in Edmonton this fall

One of the most renowned jewelry stores in the world is opening up a location in Edmonton.

Tiffany & Co. announced on Monday that it will open a new store at West Edmonton Mall this fall.

The 3,000-square foot store will be located on Level Two, Phase III of the mall.

“We are proud that Tiffany’s renowned jewelry collections and heritage of superlative quality will be part of this elegant centre,” Andrea Hopson, vice president of Tiffany & Co. Canada said in a news release.

“We look forward to introducing everyone to the legendary designs and superior service for which Tiffany is known worldwide.”

Items to be sold include collections of diamond engagement rings, fine and sterling silver jewelry, watches, gifts and accessories as well as signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, and Jean Schlumberger.

David Ghermezian, president of West Edmonton Mall, says the new store will offer a unique shopping experience for Edmontonians.

“West Edmonton Mall is proud to welcome Tiffany & Co. to the northern Alberta marketplace,” he said in a press release.

“Tiffany is an internationally recognized, first-in-class luxury jeweller found at only the world’s premier addresses. Our diverse and sophisticated customer base recognizes excellence and will truly appreciate the unique shopping experience Tiffany & Co will offer.”

The new store will be Tiffany & Co.'s 12th Canadian location and the first store in Edmonton.
