Ponoka RCMP are seeking a blue or black Toyota Highlander that was involved in a semi trailer crash on the QEII Highway on May 29. Police say they received a report of a collision with two semi trailers at 2:07 p.m. Thursday about 38 kilometres south of Leduc. Investigation by RCMP revealed that the collision occurred as a result of a vehicle parked partially in the driving lane under the overpass on the QEII and Township Road 455. The suspect vehicle left the scene after the collision. RCMP are asking for public assistance in identifying the vehicle or for dashcam footage of southbound Highway 2, just north of the Bear Hills Casino from 1:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. on May 29.
