A 14-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of Peyton Flett. He was arrested by the major crimes unit on Thursday and is scheduled to make his first appearance in Prince Albert provincial court on Friday. Flett, 14, was reported missing on June 30 and after 44 days of search, police located a dead body in the 300 block of 40th Street East on Aug. 13. An autopsy conducted on Aug. 18 confirmed the deceased person was Flett. Police say the investigation remains active and anyone with information about Flett’s disappearance or death is asked to contact police.
