Mounties looking for driver who beat another with baseball bat in northern Alberta

Mounties are searching for a man who beat another driver with a baseball bat in a fit of road rage near Westlock last month.

According to police, they received reports of two men getting into a fight at around 9:30 a.m. on June 10 near Highway 18 and Range Road 261.

Witnesses said the driver of a blue Kia sedan threatened and used a baseball bat to assault the driver of a red Volkswagen Jetta.

The Jetta’s driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Westlock RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding the owner or driver of the blue Kia sedan.
