Man recovering in hospital after shooting

An ambulance leaves the scene of a shooting at 128 Ave. and 72 St. that left a man with gunshot wounds to the neck on Sunday, August 19.

Police are investigating, after a man was shot in the neck in a home in northeast Edmonton on Sunday evening.

Officers were called to a home at 128 Avenue and 72 Street at about 8 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses said a man in his 20s was shot in the neck.

The victim was rushed to hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said the shooting happened inside the house, and the suspect and victim knew eachother, but few other details were available.
