The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has called in their homicide section after patrol officers found a man dead in central Edmonton on Friday night. Just before 9 p.m. in the area of 97 Street and 107 Avenue, EPS says a proactive patrol team found a man who had suffered “obvious injuries” before his death, according to a news release. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday. Police are now looking for surveillance video and witnesses.
