A Lacombe man is facing impaired driving charges after hitting several parked cars Saturday evening. Police were called to Blackstone Avenue around 9:20 p.m. following reports of a pickup truck doing burnouts and losing control. Officers found a grey Dodge Ram 3500 on the front lawn of a home. The truck hit a parked Nissan Kicks and two motorcycles. There were no injuries. The driver appeared to be drunk and was arrested. Breath testing showed a reading more than twice the legal limit. Police charged the man with operation while impaired by alcohol, operation with a blood-alcohol concentration equal to or exceeding 80 mg, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. A provincial Immediate Roadside Sanction was also issued and the man’s vehicle was seized. Police are seeking additional information and video footage related to the incident.
