Flooding closes part of Yellowhead Trail

Yellowhead Trail westbound was closed from 97 Street to 124 Street on Monday after heavy rain caused flooding.

Part of Yellowhead Trail was closed Monday afternoon due to flooding caused by non-stop rain.

Westbound lanes were closed from 97 Street to 124 Street, the city said just after 3 p.m.

The city also closed 97 Street to Yellowhead Trail westbound and 121 Street northbound to Yellowhead Trail westbound.

107 Street northbound to Yellowhead Trail westbound remained open but drivers were told to exit southbound onto 121 Street.
