A 56-year-old man was killed in a skydiving accident northwest of Edmonton on Saturday. The accident was reported at 9:58 a.m. on Township Road 540 near Onoway. RCMP said the man, an Edmonton resident, was a skydiving instructor. RCMP are working with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), the Alberta Sport Parachute Association and the Edmonton Chief Medical Examiner’s Office. The man’s death is not being considered suspicious. CTV News Edmonton has reached out to OHS for more information. Onoway is 50 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
