Edmonton police seek footage of shooting suspect from April

Edmonton police are searching for relevant footage from a shooting in northeast Edmonton at the end of April.

Officers responded to reports of multiple shots at people inside a residence as they were coming home in the Schonsee neighbourhood on April 24 around 11:30 p.m.

Emergency crews took two adults to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the suspect had been in a dark-coloured truck parked on the west curb of 78 Street near 173 Avenue since 9:45 p.m. Police say the person immediately left the area, heading east along 173 Avenue, after the shooting.

Camera footage shows a blurry shot of the suspect and the truck involved.

Police are asking the nearby public to check video or dash camera footage that could have captured suspicious activity between 9:45 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. that night. Investigators say they are specifically looking for footage of a dark-coloured truck travelling as described.
