Police in Abbotsford say a motorcyclist is seriously injured and has been airlifted to hospital after a collision Saturday afternoon. According to a release from the Abbotsford Police Department, the motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of Whatcom Road and South Parallel Road at around 2 p.m. Police say the people in the SUV “were shaken but were not injured.” The intersection of Whatcom Road and South Parallel Road was closed until just after 6 p.m., as investigators remained on scene to look further into the accident.
