Edmonton home searched in case of missing Indigenous teen Samuel Bird

Edmonton police executed a search warrant at a home on Thursday in connection with the disappearance of Samuel Bird, 14.

Police in Edmonton on Thursday executed a search warrant on a home in relation to the disappearance of Indigenous teen Samuel Bird.

Edmonton Police Service would not provide any other details about the search warrant.

Bird, 14, has been missing for more than three months and was last seen in Edmonton’s Canora neighbourhood.

Investigators began calling his disappearance suspicious in August.

Bird’s family and volunteers have been searching the North Saskatchewan River.
