Business defrauded of $138K, Edmonton woman charged

One person is facing charges after a local business was defrauded of $138,000.

The fraud was reported to Strathcona County RCMP in May.

On Jan. 29, Keyanna Leigh Utas, 33, of Edmonton was charged with fraud over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.

Utas was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Sherwood Park on Feb. 25.
