Farmfair International starts on Wednesday at the Edmonton Expo Centre.

The series event welcomes farmers, agriculture enthusiasts and livestock breeders.

A variety of activities will take place over the course of four days.

Livestock competitions, learning opportunities, exhibitions and networking opportunities are available for anyone who pays a visit.

Different schools will also take part in a Farmfair field trip.

Activities include barn tours, paint night, different food tastings and a book club.

The event is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Saturday.

Admission is free.
