Two earthquakes struck western Alberta on Friday morning, Earthquakes Canada confirms. The quakes struck about 70 kilometres from Grande Gache in western Alberta at 9:32 a.m. and 10 a.m., respectively, and measured as 4.3 ML and 3.9 Mw. According to Earthquakes Canada, the quakes were likely caused by industry activity and may have been felt in the community. No damage is expected as a result of the quakes.
