Two people have been charged after an assault at a schoolyard southwest of Edmonton earlier this month. Police were called to Holy Spirit Catholic School in Devon at 1:30 p.m. on July 8. Two victims were found near the school, one with serious but non-life threatening injuries. A 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man, both from Devon, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm. They are scheduled to appear in court in Leduc on Sept. 11. Police believe there may have been other people at the schoolyard at the time of the assault. Anyone information is asked to contact Parkland RCMP at 825-220-2000.
