An investigation is underway in connection with a fatal collision that took place early Saturday morning on Anthony Henday Drive. Police responded at 2:35 a.m. just west of Terwillegar Drive, where they say a westbound Nissan Kicks driven by a 27-year-old woman collided head on with an eastbound Hyundai Elantra driven by a 37-year-old man. The woman was declared dead on scene. The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries that police say appear non-life-threatening at this time.
