Lethbridge police say a targeted enforcement project this week resulted in 128 outstanding warrants executed. Officers laid 10 criminal charges during the blitz, addressed nearly 30 incidents of open drug use and made multiple arrests for drug possession. Police say multiple weapons, including knives and bear spray, were seized from tents and there were more than 15 interactions with community members and businesses. One man is also facing drug trafficking charges after police say an officer observed an interaction behind a downtown business.
