STARS lottery is back!

A $1.1 million home is up for grabs in this year's STARS Lottery.

Your chance to win a gorgeous home on the westside of Calgary has arrived. The 22^nd annual STARS Lottery is officially underway with tickets already selling fast.

Up for grabs this year is $1.1 million home in the fashionable Crestmont area. The 2,704 sq. ft. two-storey, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home also comes fully furnished.

Andrea Robertson, President & CEO of STARS says the lottery is extremely important to the organization “last year the lottery brought $11 million through the door for us.  That is equivalent to running one of our STARS bases for an entire year, so we couldn’t be functioning in Alberta without this lottery.”

Sean Craigen was a STARS patient after being involved in a major crash at Race City when he was 20, “it was a pretty significant injury.  They were concerned at first that I had a spinal injury but it turned out to be a heart injury.  I was in the hospital for about 2 weeks and have lots of plates and screws.  It’s allowed me to live my life.  If it wasn’t for Stars I would have never survived the injuries that I sustained."

STARS has already flown nearly 1800 patients this year, with four and five missions a day in Alberta.

Tickets are $25.00 for one, three for $60.00, 6 for $100.00 or 18 for $250.00
