Poppy campaign officially underway in Calgary

The poppy campaign is underway and continues through Nov. 11. All money donated goes towards supporting Canada's veterans and their families.

This year’s poppy campaign is officially underway.

The Legion said wearing a poppy is a visual pledge to honour Canada’s veterans and remember those who sacrificed for our freedoms today.

Poppies will be available until Remembrance Day on Nov. 11.

This is the Legion’s most significant annual fundraising effort.
