Calgary police are seeking public assistance to help an investigation into a shooting involving two vehicles in northeast Calgary. Thursday night at around 9:25 p.m., police responded near the 200 block of Maitland Crescent N.E. where they believe the occupants of a white 2010 Mazda 3 and a black Nissan engaged with each other after someone in the Nissan pointed a gun at the Mazda. The Mazda fled, and was followed by the Nissan until they reached the 5600 block of Madigan Drive N.E. At that point, an occupant of the Nissan fired shots at the Mazda, hitting it three times before turning north onto Manora Drive N.E. The people inside the Mazda carried on until they located police and reported the incident. No one was injured.
