Police search for groping suspect

Calgary police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to be connected to a Tuesday night groping in the city’s northeast.

A 31-year-old woman was walking in the 2800 block of Memorial Drive N.E. when she was approached by a vehicle.  An occupant of the vehicle began to yell at the woman, startling her and sending her running towards the Franklin LRT station.

The suspect left his vehicle and followed the woman on foot.  He attempted to talk to the woman, grabbing her and pulling her towards him.   The victim yelled and the suspect walked away from the station.

Closed Circuit video from Calgary Transit has supplied police with pictures of the alleged suspect.
