Malls busy with back to school shoppers

The Labour Day weekend marks the end of summer for many and for the kids it means back to school is right around the corner.

The nice weather didn’t stop school shoppers from hitting the malls on Monday.

Hundreds of students and parents flocked to stores to stock up on back to school essentials.

Staples says Labour Day is its third busiest day of the year and that tomorrow will be even busier once the kids and their parents figure out what they forgot.

A recent Pollara survey puts the average back to school spending spree at about $431.
