Lake Louise Ski Resort will be opening for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday, earlier than anticipated. Officials say the early opening is thanks to “Mother Nature’s generous gift of fresh snow, ongoing snowmaking and the incredible efforts of our mountain crews.” To celebrate the start of the season, the first 200 guests will take home opening day swag. Officials say there will also be live music and a visit from Griff the Grizzly – the resort’s mascot. The Juniper Express chair will start running at 9 a.m., providing access to Easy Street, and a carpet lift will be open in the learning area. Officials say Grizzly Gondola is expected to open later in the week as more terrain comes online. If you get hungry or thirsty, the Lodge of Ten Peaks Cafeteria will be open, as will Slopeside Coffee and Powder Keg Lounge. Banff Sunshine Ski Resort already opened for the season on Sunday.
